Looking for an comfortable road trip to Hoi An ( and Hue) while enjoying most beautiful attractions en route? We have the Hoi An Private Car and Hue Private Car option for you. This road trip will offer you the most modern car option ranging from 4-seat, 7 seat to 16-seat van with a very careful and responsible driver who will be willing to help you see the mysterious Marble Mountain, explore the aged Cham Museum, find the best photo spot for you on top of Hai Van Mountain and Lap An Lagoon and then take you safely to your hotel in Hue.
This enormous trendy lagoon will be the first stop for you after being picked up from your hotel. Lap An is a brackish water area with surface of over 800ha in the west of Lang Co Bay, stretching from the foot of Phu Gia Pass to Hai Van Estuary. Surrounding the lagoon is the winding small road and in the distance, there is the most-visited mountain of Bach Ma.
Besides the romantic natural scenery, Lap An Lagoon is also the habitat for many animals and aquatic plants, mostly oysters. Oysters have high nutritional value and many uses, so they are greatly favored by visitors. Thus the local people consider oysters as “jewel of heaven” and live mainly by feeding oysters. You will have a chance to stop here for a tea/ coffee break while enjoying the amazing scenery surrounding Lap An area.
Not far away from Lap An Lagoon is the Lang Co Beach, listed as top 30 most beautiful bay in the world with palm-shaded white sand and turquoise water surface. This is a must-stop for you during your road trip to Hoi An. There are ranges of seafood restaurants and resorts offering swimming pool and beach front cottages for guests to enjoy a perfect get-away in this attractive Lang Co area.
The name says it all! A green plant filled rock mountain standing bravely between the two most beautiful provinces in Central Vietnam, Hue and Danang. Hai Van Pass is a short but scenic route winding around a mountainside above the East Sea, on the central coast. Đèo Hải Vân – Ocean Cloud Pass – is famous for a number of reasons: as a geographic and political boundary between ancient kingdoms of Viet and Cham; as a climatic divide between the tropical south and the subtropical north, thus Hue becomes rain basket due to this amazing reason; and as a strategic military post during times of war, both ancient and modern. But, most recently, the Hai Van Pass is famous, quite simply, as a great road trip linking the popular central Vietnamese destinations of Hoi An, Danang, and Hue.
Listed in Forbes Magazine as one of the ‘World’s Most Luxurious Beaches’, the stunning sands of My Khe Beach offer surfers and sun seekers a gloriously unspoilt hideaway. With a very convenient location in the middle of Hue Imperial City and Hoi An Ancient town, My Khe deserves a stop for a peak in the trendy city of Danang.
The Marble Mountains are a cluster of five big rocky hills made from limestone and marble in Da Nang. It’s also a well-known pilgrimage site with peaks, caves, tunnels and temples all just waiting to be discovered. Named after the elements metal, wood, water, fire and earth, Marble Mountains exist in a coastal area that is renowned for stone-cutting and sculpture about 9km south of Da Nang. During your road trip, our driver will stop here and instruct you to visit the Water Mountain by either using elevator or walk slowly uphill the staircase. You’ll find yourself in the mysterious Huyen Khong with mist and lights trying to get through holes on tops of the Thuy Son Mountain. Definitely worth a visit for you in Danang.
I had a brilliant day with the guys running the tour, they all had great personalities and instantly felt like I was spending time with friends.
They’re all really knowledgeable and took us on a tour of the city, and then the Citadel.
They even took us for some awesome local street food in the evening then showed us a really cool live music venue to top the night off.
The next day they took us on a tour of a few of Hue’s tombs and helped organise our onward travel to Hoi An.
I learnt so much about Hue, and Vietnam in the past and today, and was all made easy and entertaining by these awesome guys. If you only have a day or two in Hue I strongly recommend taking one of their awesome tours.
Fantastic family friendly tour
We visited Hue with our two kids (aged 11 and 14). We had a fantastic tour on motorbikes where the guides really interacted with our children to show them this amazing city. We had a fabulous time particularly as the tour was different – more hip – and catered to the needs of the kids (and adults too). Nothing was too much trouble. We were so impressed that we asked them to organize our transfer to Hoi An and we took a guide with us – well recommended as you get a different perspective than just driving there are stopping at the normal tourist sites. Would definitely use them again when we return and would recommend them to any family group without hesitation.
Beebee Travel – Excellent City Tour; Foodie Tour; Touring Arrangements
Our group spent 4D/3N in Hue and arranged various activities with Beebee travel prior (3 mos. ahead) to our arrival. We choose Beebee travel based on positive TA reviews and we were not disappointed. Excellent arrangements, outstanding guides, and great service by the Beebee team. Thu (agency owner) is very hands on, super responsive, and very flexible to changes in our itinerary.
We arranged a day long Hue Citadel + Tombs tour with guide and driver. Also an evening Hue Foodie tour and a day long transport to Hoi An with a planned day of hiking at Bach Ma National Park. Last minute changes (mainly due to weather – rain) necessitated changing the foodie tour from motorbike to van. Also we changed a hiking day at Bach Ma NP to transport only to Hoi An due to weather. These last minute changes were no problem for Thu et.al. So, again outstanding customer service and responsiveness by Beebee travel.
Anyway, the Hue Citadel/Tombs tour was customized to how we wanted it. Our guide was informative, interesting, and one of the best guides of our month long trip to Vietnam. The Foodie tour was also excellent. We had 2 guides and we visited restaurants, food stalls that otherwise we would have had no idea to visit. Thu joined us at the tail end of our Foodie tour. Again, a very hands on approach by Beebee owner to ensure good customer service.
I can’t say enough good things about Thu, her team and Beebee travel. They did an outstanding job for our group. I would not hesitate to use Beebee travel for any arrangements/advice about Hue or Vietnam in general.
Bottomline…. Beebee Travel – Highly Recommended!
