My name is Nguyen or you can call me Amita. I am a Specialist at Hue Planning Institute where we handle constructions and planning in Hue City. I am in charge of foreign affairs issue, Vietnamese to English translation and some paper work. However, I love my hometown of Hue very much so I choose the second career as a tourist guide. I personally don’t like to use that term, I just want to be a local friend to all travelers to help them understand our culture and also learn from many beautiful cultures around the world. I want to spread the love of my hometown to all of you.
One of my dreams is becoming a tourist guide. Luckily, I know Beebee through one of the company members. I was impressed at their missions and found that it is a good place to make my dream become true. I remember on the 21st of March, I officially enrolled to be a guide trainee for 2 months at Beebee Travel. I was carefully trained under the supervision of my boss, Thu Ngo Vu. Now I can say that I’m proud to be a member of Beebee team.
All of our teammates are very nice as well. They help me a lot and I also learn a lot from them. I especially love my boss very much and owe a thank-you for all the things she did for me. I also respect her so much. She always encourages me to do better and better everyday.
I remember my very first tour in the Hue Imperial City with Lynsie and her husband from New Zealand. I was really nervous and sincerely expressed it to her. Thu kept cheering me up and saying that I should be fine. It turned out at the end of the tour, Lynsie sent us an email as below.
Every tour I always want to do my best to share knowledge to every single guest. And they often have great culture exchange on me. Most of my guests like my passion in the job and my sincerity. They totally believe in me!
Well, life is too short for us not to do things we want to. I like a saying by our Zen Buddhist Master, Thich Nhat Hanh: “The past is no longer there. The future is not yet there. There’s only the present moment“.
So my favorite saying is : Live your life to the fullest!
