A road trip from Hue to Hoi An is an adventure that promises breathtaking views, picturesque landscapes, and fascinating cultural experiences. This journey covers approximately 120 km and takes about 3-4 hours, depending on how many stops you make along the way. There are the attractions we will take you on this road trip from Hue to Hoi An.
Lap An Lagoon is a peaceful, serene body of water surrounded by lush green trees. It’s a great place to take a break from the road and enjoy the beauty of nature. You can go for a walk along the shore, take a dip in the cool waters, or have delicious seafood for lunch in a restaurant in the heart of Lap An lagoon.
Lang Co Beach is a long, pristine stretch of sand and crystal-clear water. It’s a popular destination for surfers, but it’s also a great place to relax, soak up the sun, and go for a swim. Also, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby where you can grab a bite to eat.
Hai Van Pass is a spectacular mountain road that winds along the coast between Hue and Hoi An. This road offers breathtaking views of the ocean and the surrounding mountains, making it one of the most popular tourist attractions in the area. My Khe Beach is a stunning stretch of sand and turquoise water that is perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and relaxing. This beach is surrounded by tall coconut trees and is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
Marble Mountain is a group of five hills made of marble and limestone that are considered sacred by the Vietnamese people. The hills are full of caves and tunnels, and the views from the top are breathtaking. You’ll also find a temple and a pagoda at the foot of the hills, making it a great place to learn about the culture and history of Vietnam.
The Cham Museum is a fascinating place to learn about the Cham people, who are one of the oldest civilizations in Southeast Asia. The museum is filled with artifacts and sculptures that provide insight into the history and culture of the Cham people, including their religion, art, and daily life.
Hi,
I am looking to do a day trip in and around Hue tomorrow (Wednesday the 13th) to visit the different sites.
Also I am looking for a day tour from Hue to Hoi an on the 14th (Thursday this week).
Could I do it with you? What kinds of tours are available?
Thanks and best regards,
Clément Rault
Hi
We are visiting Hue on the 14th March.
I have sent you the request for a private taxi from Airport (Hue) to our Hotel.
We also would like to arrange the follwing with english speaking
15th March
We would like to do the following with english speaking guide – Is this possible to arrange in the time, and what is the cost?
The Imperial City (Short tour only – 2 hours MAX)
Tombs – Is the list below the best, or would you recommend alternatives?
Tomb of Tu Duc
Tomb of Khai Dinh
Tomb of Minh Mang
Thien Mu Pagoda
Thanh Toan Bridge
16th March,
We would like to leave Hue in the morning and travel to Hoi An to our hotel (Essence Hoi An Hotel & Spa, 132 Hung Vuong, Hoi An, Vietnam), taking in the following locations. Is this possible – How long will this take and what is the cost ? I presume we do not need a guide, just an english speaking driver?
Also are we missing any locations to see on the way. (We will be visiting Da nang later in the holiday and taking in Marble Mountain so do NOT need to include that)
1. A Local Fishing Village
2. The Hai Van Pass
3. Golden Bridge
Thanks
Tim & Robert
I had a brilliant day with the guys running the tour, they all had great personalities and instantly felt like I was spending time with friends.
They’re all really knowledgeable and took us on a tour of the city, and then the Citadel.
They even took us for some awesome local street food in the evening then showed us a really cool live music venue to top the night off.
The next day they took us on a tour of a few of Hue’s tombs and helped organise our onward travel to Hoi An.
I learnt so much about Hue, and Vietnam in the past and today, and was all made easy and entertaining by these awesome guys. If you only have a day or two in Hue I strongly recommend taking one of their awesome tours.
Fantastic family friendly tour
We visited Hue with our two kids (aged 11 and 14). We had a fantastic tour on motorbikes where the guides really interacted with our children to show them this amazing city. We had a fabulous time particularly as the tour was different – more hip – and catered to the needs of the kids (and adults too). Nothing was too much trouble. We were so impressed that we asked them to organize our transfer to Hoi An and we took a guide with us – well recommended as you get a different perspective than just driving there are stopping at the normal tourist sites. Would definitely use them again when we return and would recommend them to any family group without hesitation.
Beebee Travel – Excellent City Tour; Foodie Tour; Touring Arrangements
Our group spent 4D/3N in Hue and arranged various activities with Beebee travel prior (3 mos. ahead) to our arrival. We choose Beebee travel based on positive TA reviews and we were not disappointed. Excellent arrangements, outstanding guides, and great service by the Beebee team. Thu (agency owner) is very hands on, super responsive, and very flexible to changes in our itinerary.
We arranged a day long Hue Citadel + Tombs tour with guide and driver. Also an evening Hue Foodie tour and a day long transport to Hoi An with a planned day of hiking at Bach Ma National Park. Last minute changes (mainly due to weather – rain) necessitated changing the foodie tour from motorbike to van. Also we changed a hiking day at Bach Ma NP to transport only to Hoi An due to weather. These last minute changes were no problem for Thu et.al. So, again outstanding customer service and responsiveness by Beebee travel.
Anyway, the Hue Citadel/Tombs tour was customized to how we wanted it. Our guide was informative, interesting, and one of the best guides of our month long trip to Vietnam. The Foodie tour was also excellent. We had 2 guides and we visited restaurants, food stalls that otherwise we would have had no idea to visit. Thu joined us at the tail end of our Foodie tour. Again, a very hands on approach by Beebee owner to ensure good customer service.
I can’t say enough good things about Thu, her team and Beebee travel. They did an outstanding job for our group. I would not hesitate to use Beebee travel for any arrangements/advice about Hue or Vietnam in general.
Bottomline…. Beebee Travel – Highly Recommended!
