Phong Nha Kayak Tour Itinerary

And here is your entire itinerary for the memorable journey to conquer Phong Nha Cave by Kayak:

9:00 am: Our driver will be in front of your hotel in Phong Nha town. When booking the tour, you will have to provide us with the necessary information, such as pick-up and drop-off points.

9:30 am: Once you get in the car, the driver will officially take you to Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park.

10:30 am: The journey from Dong Hoi city to Phong Nha – Ke Bang will take about 30 minutes. And when you arrive, the tour guide will introduce you to some information about Phong Nha Cave. Then, the tour guide will teach you some basic steps to kayak if you are a beginner.

There is time for you to practice to get used to paddling, to ensure your safety. And after completing all steps and you have gradually become familiar with the kayak, you will go through the first 3km in the dark cave of Phong Nha.

12:00 pm: After finishing 3km kayaking, we will stop and trek a 1.5km stretch in the cave. Here, you will admire and touch the beautiful sparkling stalactites and take beautiful photos.

1:00 pm: At the end of the cave walk, you will reach the underground lake. Here, tourists can freely swim and immerse themselves in the cool water, surrounded by majestic caves.

1:30 pm: By now, you must be hungry. We will prepare a lunch picnic with many delicious dishes to help you recharge your energy and continue the rest of the journey.

2:00 pm: After lunch, you will be able to explore the caves by kayak on your own. Besides Phong Nha Cave, there are many beautiful caves that you can explore, such as Thien Duong Cave, Tu Lan Cave, and many other caves.

4:00 pm: This is also the end of the Kayak tour in Phong Nha cave. We will kayak back to the mainland. And after getting out, the driver will drive you back to the hotel.

What To Bring In A Phong Nha Cave Kayak Tour?
